TEC is a two-year program, supported by a federal grant, for teachers who are employed by a secondary school while pursuing an
Education Specialist Mild/Moderate Preliminary Credential

***A stipend of up to $5,000 per year is available ***
Eligibility Requirements for TEC Participants:
- Serve students with mild/moderate disabilities as a special education teacher
- Teach at the secondary level (middle or high school)
- Meet criteria for an intern credential
- Meet subject matter in a core content area prior to or one year after joining the program
