Educational Therapy Master of Arts Requirements (36 Units)

The Educational Therapy Master of Arts Program is designed for students who wish to combine educational and therapeutic approaches for evaluation, remediation, case management, and communication/advocacy on behalf of children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities or learning problems. The program aligns with the Association of Educational Therapists (AET) course requirements for the associate level of membership. In addition, up to 100 of AET’s required supervisory hours are met by an internship, the culminating experience in the program. It is anticipated that this program will provide exemplary preparation for Educational Therapists to serve students with special needs in clinical and other settings, helping them reach their full potential.
