New Eisner College Colleague
Dounia Sadeghi joined the Michael D. Eisner College of Education as Director of Development in October 2012. Dounia earned a B.A. in English from the University of Iowa and two master's degrees from the University of Chicago in Public Policy and Middle Eastern Studies. Dounia joins us after spending five years at the University of California, Los Angeles where she was most recently the Assistant Director of Development for the Division of Life Sciences and the UCLA Venture Capital Fund.
Dounia has been working to communicate the College's mission and initiatives to California State University, Northridge alumni and external constituencies in an effort to promote fundraising and engagement. As a San Fernando Valley native and product of LAUSD's public school system, Dounia is proud to be representing the meaningful and necessary work being done by faculty in the College of Education.
In her spare time Dounia enjoys reading, working out, and training her pit-bull puppy.
