School Psychology Credential
The school psychology program is designed for persons wishing to become school psychologists in public schools. On completion of the program, the student receives the Pupil Personnel Services: School Psychology Credential.
Admission Requirements:
Applicants must apply for the master's degree in School Psych program along with the credential in School Psych. Applicants may apply to the Advanced (PPS Credential only) if they possess a master's degree in counseling or a closely related field. Admission criteria include:
Strong letters of recommendation
Completed prerequisite courses
GRE Scores (General Test only) for all applicants, regardless of GPA
Strong undergraduate grade point average
statement of career objectives
experience with school-age children, particularly those with special needs in a public school setting.
