Dr. Renee Ziolkowska joined the faculty in 2004, coming from Neumann College in Aston, PA where she served as an Assistant Professor of Education. Dr. Ziolkowska worked as a classroom teacher and a reading specialist. Dr. Ziolkowska earned her B.S. from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA, M.A. from Villanova University, Villanova, PA, and her Ed.D. in Reading, Writing and Literacy from the University of Pennsylvania. Her teaching and research interests center around reading. She is also very interested in teacher research and early intervention for struggling readers.
