Educational Leadership Research Collaborative
Mission and Purpose
The mission of the Educational Leadership Research Collaborative is to support doctoral students, doctoral faculty, and school/community college colleagues with research and related scholarly initiatives. The focus of the activities of the Collaborative is on research that is centered on problems of educational practice with primary emphasis on inquiry which addresses our program vision: “effecting profound change in teaching and learning that leads to improved student achievement.” The research of the Collaborative is undertaken by a network of individuals committed to educational change based on evidence of improved student learning.
Goals
Increase the research opportunities of doctoral faculty, students and school/community college colleagues
- Promote the connectivity of educational research and practice
- Serve as a catalyst and gathering place for scholarly inquiry on educational administration
- Support research regarding problems of educational practice and policy
- Encourage dissemination of the research of doctoral faculty, students and school/community college colleagues
- Contribute to advancing a doctoral culture at CSUN
