The All Kinds of Minds’ mission is to help students who struggle with learning measurably improve their success in school and life by providing programs that integrate educational, scientific and clinical expertise. Our goal is to make the Institute’s programs, products, and services broadly accessible to parents, teachers, clinicians, and students who struggle with differences in learning, and to change the educational environment supporting these children. Our primary goal is to educate teachers, parents, educational specialists, psychologists, pediatricians, and students about differences in learning, so that children who are struggling in school because of the way their brains are “wired” are no longer misunderstood. Our programs have been developed by Dr. Mel Levine and his colleagues based on scientific research and over twenty-five years of clinical experience. They provide a comprehensive framework for understanding how all kids learn.
The Eisner Foundation is a resource for non-profit organizations in Southern California that help children in need. All children are capable of achieving their dreams. That, simply, is the idea behind The Eisner Foundation. We are committed, as a family and as a foundation, to supporting organizations in Southern California that improve and enrich the lives of underserved children. By reaching out to underserved communities in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, we try to ensure that all children in these areas are given the support and the chance to set goals and to achieve their dreams. We fund programs that infuse education, art and athletics into children's lives; that educate teachers about differences in learning; that support parents' and their children; that improve the quality and accessibility of pediatric care; and that strengthen local resources across the board for families-in-need.
