**This message was originally sent via CSUN e-mail to projected Summer 2013 ELPS graduates regardless of ELPS 697 enrollment status on May 9, 2013. As a reminder, enrollment in ELPS 697 is restricted to students in a Classified status (https://www.csun.edu/education/elps/get-classified.html). Students who are not classified and enrolled by the end of the late registration period will graduate no earlier than Fall 2013.**

You are receiving this e-mail because our records show that you are scheduled to take the ELPS Comprehensive Exam on Saturday, June 22, 2013. This letter will serve as your invitation to the ELPS Comprehensive Exam Seminar. If you are planning to take the exam at a later date, please notify me via the e-mail address below.
The Comprehensive Exam seminar is scheduled for Saturday May 18, 2013 from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm in ED 1117 on the CSUN campus. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for sign-in.
The nearest student parking lot is the B5 parking structure and adjacent outside lot. Please see campus map at http://www.csun.edu/maps. There is a $6 parking fee which can be purchased at any of the ticket machines within the parking lot, or at the information booth kiosks.
During sign-in you will need to indicate whether you want to take the essay part of the Comprehensive Exam on a computer, which we will provide, or if you prefer to handwrite your essays.
This Seminar is optional and is provided by the ELPS faculty. All materials and handouts that will be discussed may be accessed on the ELPS web page under Comprehensive Exam (http://www.csun.edu/education/elps/comps/index.html).
Additionally, it is your responsibility to visit the ELPS web page, download the Seminar PowerPoint handouts, copy them and bring them with you to the Seminar. Copies will not be available at the Seminar. The ELPS Web page Comps Seminar PowerPoint presentation is accompanied with an audio that reviews the same materials that will be covered at the seminar. You may view these as often as you wish. Please note that there are three separate sets of PowerPoint presentations: Overview & Essay, Finance and Law. There is also a separate Supplemental Law Study Guide that is not a PowerPoint file.
We try to reach each and every one of our students by e-mail, but we ask that you please share this information with your colleagues who are also scheduled to take the Comprehensive Exam.
Thank you for your attention and cooperation with this matter. We look forward to seeing you at the Comps Exam Seminar.
Ricardo Sosapavon, Comprehensive Exam Coordinator
