Phone: 818-677-2599 e-mail: maria.boutin@csun.edu Office: ED 1218 Professional Biography: From 1992 to 1994, Ms. King was the admissions and applications coordinator at the National Center on Deafness, a position that she enjoyed very much as she dealt directly with prospective students to the campus. She then came to the College of Education in 1994 as an administrative assistant for the Office of the Dean where she reported directly to the Dean, learning all manner of administrative duties and the management of the busy academic office. Since 1996 she has been the Administrative Support Coordinator for the Department of of Educational Psychology and Counseling. Personal Statement: I love what I do here at Educational Psychology and Counseling. There is nothing more satisfying than greeting the new prospective student to our graduate programs and then watching them graduate with his or her Masters' degree, ready to serve the community as a well trained professional. It is my mission to serve and support both the students and faculty to the attainment of this goal. Academic Interests: Maria plans to pursue her Masters of Arts degree in English and American literature when her small children are bigger people. In the meantime, she enjoys creative writing, journal and travel log writing, reading and history. |
