My collegiate journey has been the most rewarding, adventurous experience in my life thus far! I have discovered many lessons about college. The most valuable lesson that I have learned is, college is more about the experience and the degree is a byproduct upon completion. It is in my opinion, college is about learning, learning how to respect and work with other students. College is about being open-minded when interacting with professors. College is about patience when you are standing in a line (at the bookstore, financial aid, or administration). College is about believing in yourself when you don't have a clue on the outcome of various school or personal related situations. Lastly, college is about character development and personal growth. The greatest attribute I have gained through my college experience is perseverance and determination, to stick with it without regards to what I see or even how I feel. To never deter away from my goal until I reach it!
