Risky Business Week | Mitigating Travel Risks

Location:
Human Resources Training Room, Oviatt Library 16, Garden Level

Facilitated By:

Risk Management

Description:

During this week-long webinar series, various risk management-related topics will be presented at each session, followed by short discussion and Q&A.  The goal is to create a forum for non-risk managers to learn about the importance of local, state, and federal regulations; common risks on college and university campuses; and what non-risk managers can do to advance effective risk practices on their campuses.  Everyone is welcome to participate.

In this session, join On Call International’s Jim Hutton, Chief Security Officer, as he explores university travel issues and associated risk management best practices; including which functions and roles should oversee policies and procedures related to international travel, important proactive measures to consider, how to best educate traveling students on health and safety precautions, crisis response procedures and more. This webinar will explore the various measures that campus professionals should take to protect their students—and their institutions—from the risks associated with international travel.
