Project Management: Adding Value, Delivering Results

Tuesday, February 21, 2017 - 2:00pm to 3:30pm

Location:
Human Resources Training Room, Oviatt Library 16, Garden Level

Facilitated By:

Jonathon E Hicks, Faculty, Systems & Operations Management

Description:

Project Management is used to move us from our current state to a (hopefully improved) future state. These changes are typically managed as unique, one-time projects, but the underlying principles can help us in all areas of our work. This discussion will cover common barriers to success as well as the tools and techniques we can use to overcome them.

Attending this workshop will help you:

  • Understand the role of Project Management
  • Apply Project Management to your day-to-day life
  • Think more strategically about your time and attention
  • Deliver the right results, at the right level, at the right time
