MMC Creative Cooking and Wellness Series - Using Available Information to Make Better Food Choices

Description:

Will be discussing food labels – what it means and how to compare food products; portion sizes – how to measure (using equipment or hands); mindful eating – listening to own body about when hungry/full; and using technology to guide food choices – USDA Supertracker and My Daily Plan, My Fitness Pal; focus less on calories, more on servings of foods.
