Summer Commit To Be Fit Takes Place Every Tuesday and Thursday, June 6 through August 3, 2017

Commit to Be Fit (CTBF) is a free fitness and wellness program led by CSUN Kinesiology students two times per week, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the Summer program (through August 3, 2017). The workouts (Group Training Only) consist of cutting edge and scientifically sound functional cardiovascular and resistance training aimed to get you in shape and help you feel your best.  Informational Flyer 

Recognizing that you work hard and deserve a great health benefit, we created a fun and engaging fitness program. CTBF is designed for all fitness levels and will expand your limits of strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and cardiovascular health. Learn how to do activities in new ways—move more quickly, think faster, jump higher! Improved fitness improves your quality of life and makes your world bigger. How? The healthier and more fit you become, the more you are able to take advantage of everything the world offers; you have more choices at work, at home, and at play.

You may join the program at any time and you may attend as few as one and as many as two times per week. Participants must complete a blood pressure check and paperwork prior to participation. Download, complete, and bring the following forms to your first session.

**Physician clearance is required for the following situations:

  • Any “YES” response on the PAR-Q form
  • A blood pressure reading of 140/90 or higher
  • Diabetes
