California Hands & Voices

Parent Links is a statewide program that supports families with newly identified children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Parent Links refers families to many resources with in California and Nationwide. One of the resources that is available to parents is California Hands & Voices.

Parent Links and California Hands & Voices collaborate in an effort to ensure that families have access to non-judgmental support and meet the family where they. Many of the Parent Links Mentors also volunteer for California Hands & Voices throughout the state from Redding down to San Diego.

Mission: California Hands & Voices is dedicated to supporting families with children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing without judgment regarding language opportunities, communication tools or educational approaches. We’re a parent-driven, non-profit organization providing families with the resources, networks, and information to improve communication access and educational outcomes for their children.

Our outreach activities, parent/professional collaboration, and advocacy efforts are focused on enabling children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to reach their highest potential.
