About the Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP)

Since its inception in 1969, CSUN EOP aims to serve historically underrepresented, low-income, first-generation college students by providing them with access to academic services and support. EOP Month takes a moment to reflect on the program’s history and invites the rest of the student body to celebrate 48 years of success.

CSUN is one of the most diverse higher learning institutions in the nation. We can thank the courage and tenacity of former CSUN alumni who paved the way for future generations.
