¡Leer California! is a free, week-long, reading enrichment workshop for California teens entering the 12th grade. During the week of June 10-14, 2013, top-ranking professors of history and literature will lead students in eye-opening, reading-based-activities. A collaboration between the Center for Southern California Studies at California State University Northridge, the California Historical Society, and the Huntington/USC Institute on California and the West at the University of Southern California, ¡Leer California! will help ambitious students improve their core competencies and give them a head start in preparing for college.
