Grants & Contacts
The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is committed to supporting faculty who pursue grant and contract opportunities with public and private funders to enhance their research endeavors and enrich student experiences in and out of the classroom. Due to our applied research focus and our commitment to experiential learning opportunities for students, we encourage faculty to secure external support for their projects.
In 2006-07, the College was awarded almost $2 million in public and private grants and contracts.
The CSBS Grants Office provides a valuable resource for our faculty during all phases of grants and contract development from prospect research and proposal preparation to post-award project management.
We encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our grant guidelines, search available funding opportunities, and find out about grant and contract awards throughout the College.
Please contact us with any questions or schedule an appointment to meet with our Grants Officer, Matt Terhune in the Dean’s Office in Sierra Hall 410. We look forward to working with you to enhance your scholarly activities, provide outstanding, unique learning experiences for our students, and fulfill the learning-centered mission of the College and the University.
