Shepard Goodman, CSUN Class of 1964, serves as an Ambassador for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Originally from New York, Shepard moved to Los Angeles when he was five years old. He attended North Hollywood High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Cal State Northridge. He met his future wife, Ronni, at CSUN, and they married in 1964. They have two sons, Adam and David, and a daughter-in-law, Jodi.
From 1960 to 1979 Shepard designed and manufactured instruments used in the refrigeration industry and marketed them throughout the world. In 1979, he formed MRE International, an export company specializing in refrigeration and air conditioning parts sold in Asia, the Pacific Rim and other parts of the world.
Boats and travel have always been Shepard’s passion. He enjoys world travel, both for business and as a tourist. Shepard and Ronni treasure the friendships they have made with their international customers.
