Heidi Lennartz: LSCW Chief Executive Officer Mission Community Hospital
Heidi Lennartz, LCSW, has been in healthcare for over 25 years, beginning as a volunteer with the LA Free Clinic. In 1982, Ms. Lennartz received her BA from California State University, Northridge in Psychology and later earned her Masters of Social Work at the University of Southern California, concentrating in Community Organizing/Public Administration. Ms. Lennartz did her post-graduate work in Physical Medicine/Rehabilitation, New York City, and in the 1990s worked with the AIDS community at Midway Hospital's Immune Suppression Unit, also serving on the Board of Directors for The Shanti Foundation. For the next six years, Ms. Lennartz was Administrator for Mission Community Hospital's Behavioral Health Services at the San Fernando Campus. She later joined USC University Hospital as Director of Case Management & Social Services, but remained with Mission Community Hospital as a member of the Board of Directors. In 2002, Ms. Lennartz returned to Mission Community Hospital as Associate Administrator, served as Interim CEO in 2005, and then assumed the role permanently in 2006.
