Allons en France! Let's go to France!

CSUN History Department Historical Field Study Trip 2011 "Revolutionary France" June 26–July 4, 2011

The History Department is pleased to announce its newest Historical Field Study Trip, scheduled to take place in summer 2011. Entitled "Revolutionary France," this upcoming trip will take participants on a nine-day excursion to Paris and its surrounding region. Dr. Erik Goldner, a specialist in French history, will guide participants through the twists and turns of one of the most important episodes in modern history by visiting sites related to the French Revolution and its aftermath.

All interested CSUN students, alumni, and friends of students and alums are eligible to participate in "Revolutionary France." The trip is priced at $2,899. If you have ever wanted to explore France, this is arguably the most affordable way to do so. The trip price includes round-trip airfare to Paris, hotel accommodations, all breakfasts and several other meals, admission to the Louvre Museum and other sites, and wine tastings in the Loire Valley and Reims. Additional funding to help defray costs may be available.

Trip information sessions:

Wednesday, February 2
Thursday, February 3
Both sessions will be held from 7–8PM in Jerome Richfield Hall 221
