Advising
All Urban Studies and Planning faculty members have responsibility for undergraduate advising, and you are encouraged to speak with more than one faculty member.
The current Advisement Coordinator for the Department is Professor Ashwani Vasishth, whose office is in Sierra Tower 206, and who can be reached at x-6137 or at vasishth@csun.edu. His Advisement Hours are Wednesday and Friday, 12 noon to 2 PM, or by appointment.
IN ALL CASES, please REGISTER for advisement sessions ONE DAY IN ADVANCE, at SH 208.
The Advisement Coordinator is responsible for processing all Graduation Checks, Course Substitutions, Change of Major and Declaration of Specialization forms, as well as clearing all registration advisement holds.
