Get upper-division Psychology credit for your volunteer, work, internship, and/or research experiences!
If you are volunteering or working in a psychology related site, you may be eligible to get psychology credit that can count towards your degree requirements! This may also apply if you are acting as a teacher’s assistant (TA) or are helping a professor with research.
What you need to do:
- Find a full-time psychology faculty member to sponsor your work
- Complete either the Psy 498 (Practicum) or Psy 499 (Independent Study) form and turn paperwork into the Psychology department
- Sign up for 1, 2, or 3 units based on the amount of hours you will spend at your site, or how much work you sign on to complete, during the semester.
- Internship (Psy 498) and Independent Study (Psy 499) forms can be found on the homepage of the psychology department website.
