Research Interests
My two main areas of interest are quantitative psychology and social psychology. My interests in quantitative methods are structural equation modeling, item response thoery, multilevel modeling and growth curve modeling. My social psychological interests pertain mainly to the study of stereotying and prejudice with a emphasis on reducing intergroup bias and model testing.
Currently I am working with Dr. Michele Wittig on a high school prejudice reduction curriculum as well as testing mediational models of prejudice. I am also working with Dr. Steve Reise at UCLA on a few projects that include application of Item Response models to psychological data and assessments of grouped data with two level structural equation models.
