Professor Michaud's research focuses on public opinion and environmental policy. Specifically, she studies public opinion toward global climate change and energy policy. She is currently working on two research projects. In the first, Professor Michaud is examining the roles that trust and religion play in shaping concern about climate change. In the second project, Professor Michaud is working with colleagues to explore the influence of public opinion and political behavior on energy policy during energy crises.
