Atlantic History Workshop: November 19, 2009, 2-4:00pm, in the Whitsett Room located on the fourth floor of Sierra Hall on the campus of the California State University at Northridge. Award-winning historian and UCLA Distinguished Professor of Political Science and History, Dr. Anthony Pagden, will conduct a workshop on “How To Do Comparative History.” The workshop is intended for interested faculty and graduate students only. Professor Pagden will talk about how he has written comparative history in the past. Questions will be taken throughout the workshop. This interactive, intimate workshop with an internationally recognized scholar will be a rare experience. Do not miss it.
