Undergraduate Program

For undergraduate students,California State University Northridge offers a B.A. program in Anthropology. The Major is designed to contribute to a student's liberal arts education and to prepare the student for graduate work, teaching or other professional pursuits. However, students interested in focusing on a more specialized area of interest, such as Archaeology, have the choice to pursue the Optional Major Program. STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES FOR THE UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM IN ANTHROPOLOGY

  • Demonstrate knowledge and critical understanding of the concept of culture as a fundamental organizing idea for the discipline of Anthropology (Theoretical Appreciation of the Culture Concept)
