Anthropology graduate student awarded a Graduate Equity Fellowship

(NORTHRIDGE, Calif., September 12, 2008) — Anthropology graduate student Sean Brown has been awarded a Graduate Equity Fellowship.  These scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of merit and financial need.  Sean is researching the social and ecological factors that drove human behavior and decision-making in America’s Great Basin in the era before colonial contact with the West.  He will present the results of his findings at the Creative Works and Research Symposium at CSUN in Spring 2009.  The department congratulates Sean on his impressive achievement.
