GIS / Cartography Lab

The Center personnel enjoy access to several of the Deparments fully-functional GIS and cartography laboratories with over fifty PC workstations. These labs offer an extensive selection of current software applications for GIS, image analysis, digital cartography, statistical measures, graphic design, and desktop publishing. Center personnel also have access to networked storage and spatial data servers as well as workgroup laser printers and format plotters.

In addition to our GIS/Cartography Labs, we also have a full suite of field equipment including several high GPS units to suit your surveying needs. The Center has several faculty advisors, a GIS project manager, a cartographer, and technical staff. Our students are from both the local\regional areas as well as international. The Center employs both undergraduate and graduate students.
