2011 POSTER CONTEST


JADE is hosting a campus wide poster contest in search of a poster for the 2012 Love Your Body Campaign


The winning entry will be selected by JADE and then forwarded on for submission to the National Organization for Women Foundation's annual poster contest to promote Love Your Body Day 2012. (Click on some past winners shown below to make sure you are familiar with the campaign.)

 


The winner of the JADE 2011 Poster Contest will receive a Spring 2012 parking permit or the equivalent CSUN bookstore gift card and be eligible to win the national prize of $300 cash.


Official Contest Rules

"The winning poster will be chosen based on how well it counteracts the media's use of narrow, unrealistic, negative images of women and/or challenge advertisers that profit from women's dissatisfaction with their bodies."


Entry Rules:

  • Must be current CSUN student registered for Fall 2011
  • Must submit poster by Monday, Nov. 28th 2011 at 5:00p.m. to BH520

    *Late submissions will not be accepted

Artwork:

  • Poster should be no larger than 9" x 12" and include original artwork
  • The poster must include the words 2012 Love Your Body Campaign and the NOW Foundation web site url, www.nowfoundation.org
  • Each entry must include the artist's full name, address, phone number, & valid e-mail address on the back of each poster.
  • Do not include 3 dimensional elements, collages, posters that mimic ad campaigns or use images of celebrities, models or others who have not granted you permission to use their image.

Winner will be announced by December 3rd 2011.
