Dr. Rasyidi grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from local LAUSD schools. He went on to undergraduate studies at UC Riverside where he received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences before graduating from Medical School at UCLA. Dr. Rasyidi is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry, focusing on accurate diagnosis and treatment, including medications when appropriate, for a wide range of illnesses including Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, OCD, and PTSD. He has also completed sub-specialty training in Addiction Psychiatry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Rasyidi's clinical approach is one of collaborative care where effective treatment comes from a strong working relationship between an individual and their treatment providers. In his off hours, Dr. Rasyidi is usually found spending time with his family at local farmer markets or even feeding the turtles at the Orange Grove pond here on the CSUN campus.
