Fall 2000 |
Develop and implement test case service learning project.
Undergraduate students in the COMS 356 Intercultural
Communication class will work with 9th and 10th grade geography
classes at Grant High School. Initial focus groups will be followed by
learning activities. CSUN students will host Grant High School
students at the CSUN campus as culminating project.

assessment of projects with graduate students in Department of
Educational Psychology, CSUN. |

Continue service learning projects based
on input from assessments.
Articulate a replicable, nation-wide model to guide schools in creating
environments where hate and hate speech are not tolerated and
where the benefits of a cultural diverse community are actively
fostered. |
