Call for Proposals

Submission Deadline – February 15, 2008
Proposals are being sought for presentations on the use of content area reading and informational literature that explores topics within the subject areas of history/social studies, mathematics, science, and the arts in the PreK-8 classroom. This conference is an opportune time for engaged educators who work in K-12, as well as university and parent educators to offer practice-based and research-based presentations about content area literature. Preference will be given to presentations that include practical, implementable ideas and strategies for the use of the literature in the classroom. It is anticipated that audiences will range in size between 15 and 30 participants
All proposals will be peer-reviewed and selected by the Review Committee under the criterion listed in the Presenter Proposal Form.
