We encourage you to talk about your career goals with your counselor and learn about the Workability IV program located in the Center on Disabilities. Workability IV (WAIV) is a job placement program funded by the Department of Rehabilitation. WAIV offers the following career services:

- Internship preparation and search assistance
- Assistance in writing resumes and cover letters
- Interview preparation
- Job search assistance
- Workshops on job place accommodations and communication skills
- Career mentoring
- Assistance with basic computer skills
In order to be eligible for WAIV services, you must be:
- A student who is registered with the Center on Disabilities or a student who was registered with the Center on Disabilities and graduated within the last two years; and,
- A client of the Department of Rehabilitation (DOR). If you are not currently a client of DOR, you may be referred by a counselor at the Center on Disabilities who can also assist you with the application.
Career services are also available to all Cal State Northridge students through the Career Center. The Career Center is located in University Hall.
