Keynote

This year's Keynote Address at the Conference which will be held March 3, Tuesday evening, in the Seaport Ballroom at 5:30 PM. Dr. Harry Murphy, this year's Conference Chair, will host the Tuesday evening event. A Reception will follow the Keynote Address.

Keynote Speaker Mr. Mick Ebeling We are pleased to announce that this year our Keynote Speaker will be Mr. Mick Ebeling. Mr. Ebeling is the founder of the Ebeling Group (TEG), an award-winning, international production company and think tank. He is also the founder of the Not Impossible Foundation, a nonprofit organization that develops creative solutions to real-world problems. The Foundation’s mission, to take seemingly impossible ideas and transform them into useful applications that redefine the boundaries of possibility, is clearly demonstrated in their Project 001: The Eyewriter. This is an amazing journey that results in an open source, low-cost, DIY device that enables individuals with paralysis to communicate and create art using only the movement of their eyes.

Mr. Ebeling will be sharing his vision and philanthropic efforts along with his goals to raise public awareness and inspire change during his speech. This Keynote Address is the perfect blend of technology, human interest and inclusion and is certainly the best way we could imagine to start our 30th Anniversary CSUN Conference Celebration.

Please join us in Seaport Ballroom on Tuesday, March 3 at 5:30 P.M. when we open the 30th Annual Technology and Persons with Disabilities Conference.

Pre-Conference Workshops

Full-Day and Half-Day Pre-Conference Workshops will be offered on Monday, March 2, 2015 and Tuesday, March 3, 2015. These workshops are designed to give in-depth training on specific topics.

Exhibits

The exhibit hall will be open Wednesday, March 4, 2015 through Friday, March 6, 2015. The Exhibit Halls are FREE and the hours are as follows:

  • Wednesday, March 4, 12:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Thursday, March 5, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday, March 6, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

You must register to attend the FREE Exhibit Halls. Please register for "Exhibit Hall Only" if you are only visiting the exhibitors. You only need to register once to access the exhibits during open hours.

Accommodation Services for the Exhibit Halls

In our effort to provide reasonable accommodation services (interpreters and sighted guides) at the conference, we are limiting requests to 20 minutes time periods when visiting the Exhibit Halls. As always, these services are based on the availability of our service providers.

You are, of course, welcome to return and request services again throughout the day and/or on additional days you may be coming to the Exhibit Hall.

We appreciate your cooperation with these procedures and thank you for your support in our efforts to provide services for the convenience of our conference attendees and visitors to the Exhibit Hall.
