Session Type: General Track
In this session we will be covering the basics of design principles that drove many of the accessibility updates in in Windows 8. We talk through items on o the Start Screen, to IE, to how that relates to apps such as Windows Mail. I will be talking about the UI, why some of the choices were made for accessibility, and address some common questions and feedback we have received. We will address key design considerations on how we chose to balance keyboard navigation and how that keyboard navigation relates to touch usage by working through the design flow of Windows Mail.
