The United Nationís world Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), held in November 2005 in Tunis, developed a 10 year action plan to incorporate access technologies into ITC. A major focus was on design of emergency preparedness information and early warning systems. This presentation will concentrate on the importance of multimedia to reach all sectors in the preparation of information that must be available to all people with disabilities. It will also discuss strategies for developing early warning systems that can reach everybody.
