This
session will describe how to use a Vanguard, Vantage, Pathfinder or Springboard
communication device with IntelliTools Classroom Suite. Rather than design
individual pages of custom vocabulary, we will demonstrate how to use
vocabulary that already exists on devices for everyday communication to
complete assignments on the computer. With the appropriate supports, any text
typed on the device can be entered into the computer, whether selected from
words, letters, or a series of letters/words. In addition to keyboard commands
for the
IntelliTools Classroom Suite program, mouse commands will be demonstrated that
already exist on all PRC Plus devices. We will demonstrate how to access
existing activities in all areas of Classroom Suite as well as using new and
modified activities that have been created or downloaded from the IntelliShare
website.
