Voice Math With MathTalk Using Either Dragon NaturallySpeaking ™ (DNS) or the Microsoft ™ Speech Engine- MathTalk ™ using DNS, MathTalk ™ using Microsoft ™ Speech Engine, MathTalk ™ for VI/LD using DNS , MathPad ™ By Voice ™ using DNS ™.
This presentation will demonstrate voicing math using both Dragon NaturallySpeaking and the Microsoft speech engine - MathTalk/Scientific Notebook 5.0 and MathPad By Voice. Includes voicing math into Braille! This presentation will include evaluating a user, system requirements and benefits to the speech recognition user.

MathTalk/ScientificNotebook using Dragon Naturally Speaking - MT/Dragon
MathTalk/ScientificNotebook 5.0 combined with Dragon NaturallySpeaking (use any version of NaturallySpeaking 6.0 & 7.0) -- using the Professional, Preferred, Standard, or Essentials - allows the user to voice math using "sentence commands".
This demonstration of MT/Dragon will show:
1. Learning/training modules for different levels of math--pre-algebra, algebra, trig, calculus, stat.
2. How to learn to use MathTalk with special Training materials.
3. How to use MathTalk strictly without the keyboard.
4. Voice access to searches of the manual and specific commands.
5. Sentence commands that enable the user to speak variables with variables.
6. Voice commands translating the math into Braille in the Duxbury Braille Translator 10.5.
7. Easily add text from DragonPad by either a. "go to dragon" and "go to MathTalk" OR b. "show dictation box".
8. Videos accessible by voice commands which show the use of special features of the product!

MathTalk/ScientificNotebook 5.0 combined with the Microsoft Speech Engine allows the user to voice math using "sentence commands".
This demonstration of MT/Microsoft will show:

MathTalk For Learning Disabilities using Dragon Naturally Speaking - MT/LD
This program is our MathTalk/Scientific Notebook 5.0 with the "echo" and "highlight" features.
This demonstration will show:
1. The student voices the mathematics
2. There is an "echo" of the math as it is placed on the screen.
3. The math accomplished by that command is highlighted.
MathPad By Voice using Dragon NaturallySpeaking
MathPad By Voice using Dragon NaturallySpeaking (use any version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking 6.0 & 7.0) -- using the Professional, Preferred, Standard, or Essentials - allows the user to voice arithmetic.
This demonstration of MathPad By Voice will show:
1. Voicing arithmetic using MathPad.
2. Optional readback of each entry.
3. Optional readback of problem and/or row.
4. Option to voice and to use keyboard.
5. Font adjustment for best viewing. Can be enlarged to font 72.
