This session will be of interest to professionals, rehab counselors, educators and individuals with an interest in low vision and information technology. There will be time for questions at the end of the session, and delegates are encouraged to visit the Dolphin booth in the Marriott Hotel to try the software for themselves.

During the session, Dolphin will demonstrate

  1. How CCTV users can easily combine their CCTV with a personal computer.

  2. How low vision users can enjoy a wider choice of information through the Internet.

  3. New features of Dolphin's Lunar Screen Enlarger for Windows 95/98/Me and NT/2000
CCTVs are popular with seniors, students and professionals to enable them to see printed information more clearly. Dolphin's Lunar Screen Enlarger produces powerful clear text and images, greatly enhancing the legibility of a computer screen. Importantly for CCTV users, many CCTV models can be combined with a computer so that so that the CCTV image is displayed on part or all of the computer screen. With more and more information being delivered electronically over the Internet such as billing and banking, an integrated system allows the user to access both print and electronic information quickly and easily. Lunar can magnify any part of the computer screen, while the CCTV image is displayed in the other part. Intelligent design means this sophisticated software is extremely easy to install and use.

Dolphin will demonstrate the latest developments to their Lunar Screen Enlarger software. Designed for seniors, students and professionals with low vision, Lunar is powerful yet easy-to-use with or without a CCTV.

While magnification technology is not new, unique features in Dolphin's Lunar software and other Dolphin magnification products mean that computer users have more choice than ever before, and can achieve more with their computers. Dolphin's Lunar allows people to get on with using their computer for shopping, writing, research and communication, instead of struggling to use their access software. Furthermore, Lunar is designed to work without affecting computer performance, so there is no impact on family members or co-workers who share the same computer.
