Dom began his education at Hartnell Community College in Salinas, California and then transferred to UCLA where he earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in English. He is currently pursuing his Masters of Science Degree in College Counseling from California State University, Northridge. Dom uses counseling and social justice frameworks to guide his work with students. During his professional career he has served first generation, low income students, community college students, student veterans, and undocumented students. Dom’s goal as an advisor is to empower students by validating their experiences, helping them develop a sense of community within COBAE and CSUN, and teaching them how to be advocates in creating a relevant and fulfilling college experience for themselves.
