Overview of Black culture, including history, religion, social organization, politics, economics, psychology, and creative production, with a survey of the key concepts and fundamental literature in each area. The discipline of Africana Studies is also presented in terms of its origins and distinguishing theories and methods. Meets the Ethnic Studies requirement.
