The Career Center offers career services to all currently enrolled CSUN students. We will help students develop their interests, skills, strengths, and values; match academic programs with career fields; make meaningful decisions; clarify their career goals; engage in career planning; and prepare for their job search.

Come explore career trends, industries, and employers in our career resource library. Update and revise their resume during our Walk-in career sessions. Learn about their working style. Explore fieldwork and internship opportunities. Search for part-time and full-time jobs online through SUNlink. Practice successful interviewing skills. Participate in on-campus interviews. Meet industry professionals and employers at our career events and job fairs. Attend workshops. Start early, stay focused, graduate and get hired!

Career Counseling & Advising:
Walk-in Career Sessions
If a student has a quick question about their career, needs their resume critiqued, or wants to learn about career resources and job search strategies, they can meet with a Career Peer Educator and get started! Visit us in the Career Center – UH 105! Walk-ins happen on a first come, first served basis. Call ahead for available times, 818-677-2878.

Career Counseling
Students can come to us for direction, career planning, information, guidance, and support. Our professionals will help students set and reach their career goals. Please note: a Walk-in session is required prior to making an appointment with a career counselor.

Don’t forget about the one on one resume critiques with a Peer Educator during the scheduled Walk-In hours. There are also resources and tips in the library.
