Adrienne

Hi everybody! My name is Adrienne and this is my 2nd year working as a Peer Educator for the Career Center at CSUN. I'm currently a Junior, majoring in English with a minor in Psychology. My plan is to get my teaching credential and substitute teach at elementary schools while I work on getting a Master's Degree in Counseling or School Psychology. During my free time I’m usually watching movies and reading, hanging out with my friends and roommates, sleeping, visiting family members that live nearby, or doing homework or studying. I love working with others and I look forward to helping everyone out with any questions that they have. Good luck on the new school year, and don’t hesitate to ask me for help if you ever see me around the Career Center.

Bianca

Hello everyone! I’m Bianca and I am a Sophomore here at Cal State Northridge. My academic goals include getting my Bachelor’s degree in Business with a Marketing emphasis, as well as furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in a related field. With my future plans, I hope to become a successful businessperson, marketing coordinator, or creative director and be able to travel the world someday. Aside from playing volleyball or spending time with close friends and family during my free time, I try to keep myself busy and make the most out of my college experience by exploring the never-ending involvement opportunities offered on campus. I have never been this excited to be part of the Career Center team as a Peer Educator, and I hope to inspire many individuals in every way possible. I highly encourage everyone to check out the Career Center, and I will be looking forward to helping you with your academic choices, career options, and anywhere in between!

Jordan

Hello, my name is Jordan Dixon. I am a sophomore and I am a psychology major. I love being a Peer Educator and I am always excited to be given the opportunity to help others. I may not always know the solutions to every problem, but I always make an effort to do my best. I love working in the Careers Center because everyone has something to offer and we each help one another in the best way possible. We are a group of positive people and intentions to serve everyone as best as we can. On my free time, I enjoy going to open mic events, going thrifting, spending time with family, and exercising, so you might catch me at the SRC. Never be afraid to ask questions and learn new things because that is what life is all about. I look forward to working with different people to help them take the steps to get where they want to be. Lexi

Hello all! Currently, I am a senior at Cal State Northridge and I am majoring in Psychology. I plan on obtaining a Master’s degree in Marriage Family Therapy. Although my ultimate goal is to become a Marriage Family Therapist, I love the range of career opportunities the Psychology major offers. In fact, there are a variety of things I would like to do with my Psychology degree. For instance, I also plan on working in a Human Resources department as an Employee Relations Specialist to gain more experience helping and working with people. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, traveling to new places, reading and relaxing. I love helping others and am thrilled that I have the opportunity to work as a Peer Educator in the Career Center. I look forward to meeting with you and assisting you on your journey. Narineh

Hello everyone! My name is Narineh and I am currently a senior here at Cal State Northridge. I am majoring in Psychology and I plan on getting my Master’s degree in college counseling. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, swimming and spending time with my friends and family. I am really excited to start my work as a peer educator at the career center and I encourage all of you to take advantage of all of the amazing resources that are offered. Hope to see you soon!

Yessica

Hello everyone! I am a Junior majoring in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Welfare. My ultimate goal is to become a social worker or work in any related field that deals with helping people. I really enjoy interacting with people and helping and support them in any way possible which is why I love my job as a Peer Educator. I come from a small family residing in South Los Angeles and decided to come to CSUN for my undergraduate. I love CSUN for its campus, resources, great faculty, and most important of all, the squirrels. I am a friendly, outgoing person who loves spending time reading at home, watching movies, meeting new people and going on hiking adventures.
