Post a Job or Internship
There are no fees for posting jobs, internships, fellowships, research opportunities, on-campus student employment, work-study jobs or any other type of work-based experience in our online job board, SUNlink. Federal and state employment laws and regulations and CSUN recruiting policies apply.

Fall and spring job fairs
The fall and spring job fairs are open to all students of any major seeking part-time and full-time jobs, entry-level careers and internships.
October and March
Standard fee: $425
Nonprofit and government organizations: $225
Tech Fest provides an opportunity to recruit College of Engineering and Computer Science students for part-time and full-time jobs, entry-level careers and internships.
Fall and spring semesters
Standard fee: $450
Non-profit and government organizations: $250
Education Expo provides school districts and private institutions the opportunity to recruit for credentialed applicants and other school-related positions.

Recent Grad and Alumni Job Fair
The Recent Grad and Alumni Job Fair is open to new CSUN graduate and alumni and allows employers to recruit for both entry-level and experienced positions.

Graduate and Professional School Information Day
The Graduate and Professional School Information Day is an opportunity for institutions to showcase graduate programs and talk with students about the application process.

On-campus interviews (OCI) are a convenient and simple way to hold your first-round interviews. Using our online system, you can schedule interviews, post jobs and select students online. On the date of the interviews, your recruiters will arrive at the CSUN Career Center and speak with each student in one of our interview rooms.
The Career Center currently has up to two recruiting rooms available per day. Rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Full-day, morning and afternoon schedules for booking rooms are available. Interviews generally run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an hour break for lunch. Schedules can be adjusted as needed, but please note that the Career Center closes at 4 p.m. on Fridays.
We highly recommend that you attend a career fair prior to your on-campus interview. Career fairs and information sessions are excellent ways to increase your visibility on campus and meet students looking for jobs or internships.
If you attend a career fair and schedule on-campus interviews within the same semesters, the OCI fees will be discounted by $150. OCIs are not available to third party recruiters.

On-campus interview instructions
Employers attach job postings, view applicant resumes and select candidates online. Students then schedule their interviews online before the in-person meeting.
Step one: Request a schedule
1. Log in to SUNlink.
2. Select On-Campus Interviews (OCI) on the bar at the top of the screen.
- Select Request A Schedule.
- Choose desired OCI model.
None — Room Reservation Only: Reserves the room but does not set up an online schedule. You must recruit students and form your own schedule.
Open: Allows you to post a job or internship and screening requirements. All qualified students can submit resumes and schedule interviews.
Preselect: Allows all qualified students to submit resumes and apply. You have specific dates to review resumes and select candidates, after which point students schedule their interviews.
Preselect to Alternate (P to A): Allows you to select alternate students. If there are openings in the schedule after the preselected students schedule interviews, the alternate students have a day to fill up the schedule.
Preselect to Alternate to Open (P to A to O): If there is still room in the schedule after the alternate students have signed up, then any qualified student can sign up.
Select your interview date, rooms and interview length.
Step two: Attach positions
When your schedule has been approved, you will receive an automated email.
Select On-Campus Interviews.
Select the Attach Position button located on the right of your scheduled OCI date.
Select Copy/Create A New Position.
If you already have a job posting in the system, you may copy it. Otherwise, complete the job posting form.
Select Save and Attach Another, or Save and Finish.
Step three: Select students
1. Select On-Campus Interviews.
2. Select the Applicants tab.
3. Use the drop-down menu to the right of each student's name to select Invited or Not Invited. Students listed as pending will automatically change to Not Invited after your selection deadline ends.
To view your schedule, follow these instructions.
- Select On-Campus Interviews.
- Select the desired interview schedule.
- Select View Interview Schedule in the left margin.
Notes about on-campus interview models
Preselect to Alternate (P to A): You cannot rank alternates. If you have two open spaces and four alternates, they can sign up on a first-come, first-served basis.
Preselect to Alternate to Open (P to A to O): If you are making your OCI request fewer than three weeks prior to your interviews, this option may take a significant amount of time from the students' resume drop period because the scheduling period takes several days longer.

Company information sessions are a wonderful way to increase visibility on campus, meet students and recruit for jobs and internships. Come to the Career Center to teach students about your organization, company culture, day-to-day life and career opportunities.
Some employers prefer to hold information sessions when they are beginning to come on campus, using it as a method to get their name out and inform students of opportunities that they might not otherwise consider. Other employers will hold an event one or two days before on-campus interviews and invite all interviewees to break the ice and answer many basic questions in a less formal, more comfortable environment.
Information session fees are discounted by $75 if you attend a career fair or schedule on-campus interviews within the same semester. Information sessions are limited to two per semester.

To register an information session, follow the steps below.
- Log in to SUNlink.
- Select Events on the bar across the top of the screen.
- Select the Information Sessions tab, and then Add New.
- Fill out the online form. Please include a detailed description. Students will see this information when signing up for events.
- If you are holding on-campus interviews, enter the recruiting date in the appropriate section
- Select the audiovisual equipment you will need. If this changes, please contact the Career Center.
Days and times
Information sessions are typically held in the late afternoon or early evening, 4 -7 p.m., and generally last between one and two hours. Depending on room availability, information sessions are scheduled between Monday and Thursday and must be completed by 9 p.m. Information sessions are typically held in the CSUN Career Center workshop room, which holds up to 25 students. If a larger room is needed, another venue on campus may be arranged.
Many employers choose to provide refreshments for the students during the information session. This may include light refreshments, such as cookies and beverages, or more substantial fare, such as pizza. The Career Center will arrange for refreshments upon request. Any refreshments provided by the Career Center will be invoiced to the employer at cost after the event.
The Career Center will market your information session to CSUN students and alumni, which may include:
- Targeted emails to registered students and alumni
- Fliers posted in the Career Center and appropriate departments.
- Inclusion in monthly event calendars
- Online posting and student sign-ups
Some employers may wish to market the event through other avenues.

Tabling is offered to organizations that have attended at least one career fair within the prior academic year. Tabling is not available to third party recruiters and is subject to availability. Solicitation or selling products is not allowed.
You can schedule a day to table at one of our inner-campus high traffic walkways. You can display or distribute company information, promote your participation at a campus event or advertise open positions. Tabling locations and regulations are governed by campus policies. Restrictions apply.

E-Resume Search (Resume Book)
E-Resume Search is a convenient way to search SUNlink for students and alumni seeking employment. Search resumes by major, graduation date or other criteria. E-Resume Search is not available to third party recruiters.
