Rabbi Devin Maimon Villarreal is a descendant of two Converso families (Conversos were Jews who converted to Catholicism but secretly remained Jews, under the threat of the Inquisition).  Raised Christian in the U.S., he grew up hearing about his Jewish ancestors.  He will share his personal story and describe his decision to embrace Judaism formally and become ordained as a rabbi.  Read more
