EOH Tech Symposium
Thursday Mar 7th, 2013 - Thursday Mar 7th, 2013
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM - USU Northridge Center
Thursday, March 7th is the 8th Annual Technical Symposium hosted by the Department of Environmental and Occupational Health, its alumni chapter, and its student association. Nanotechnology (one nanometer is one-billionth of a meter) is an emerging industry that involves the control of atoms and molecules to create new materials with a variety of useful functions. As concerns grow about their effects on living organisms and the environment, the symposium brings together experts to shed light on these tiny chemical messengers. Among the line up of nationally recognized speakers is Tony Machado (EOH) who also organizes the event with the Alumni Chapter President, Bob Finkelstein.
