Part 1 is designed to familiarize staff with the range of university resources and how to activate those resources when responding to a variety of behaviors that may cause concern within your department. Part 2 of the workshop will deal with the worst case scenario of an active shooter situation on campus. There will also be an explanation of what to expect regarding emergency response by CSUN Police. Presented by: Anne Glavin, Chief of Police & Jill Smith, Associate Vice President of Human Resources.

The Building and Floor Marshal Program is designed to provide recruiting, training and coordination of volunteers in very major building on campus. This training will provide emergency response procedures for some of the most common or likely critical incident emergency situations that may occur on campus. Presented by: Kit Espinosa, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
