This engrossing documentary tells the story of the kibbutz movement through vintage and recent photographs, interviews with kibbutz members and ex-members, and commentaries. Toby Perl Freilich’s documentary shows the utopian, revolutionary, yet rigid and demanding elements of kibbutz life in its changing forms over its 100+ years. (In English and Hebrew, with English subtitles, 80 minutes).
