Scott Diener oversees Southern California's largest local television news operation, the CBS stations in Los Angeles that produce more than 70 hours of local newscasts each week. Since Mr. Diener joined CBS in 2010, CBS 2 has increased audiences and earned its first February late news victory in 17 years. KCAL 9 has enjoyed unprecedented success with Southern California's most-watched 10 p.m. newscast in seven of the last nine quarterly sweep periods.
Mr. Diener, a native of Los Angeles, has worked in markets across the country and earned the Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University award, a George Foster Peabody and an Emmy. Please join us to learn about his career and contributions to the Los Angeles broadcast market.
